KIOTI builds sub-compact, compact, and utility tractors with top-tier components and a smarter price tag to suit the needs of small-scale residential operations all the way to large-scale commercial farming. Safford backs every one of them with the kind of service and know-how you won’t find anywhere else in the Southeast.
Our team doesn’t just sell KIOTI tractors, we run them on our own land. When you ask us a question about the HST or Shuttle Manual transmissions, the Skid Steer Quick Attach for loader operations, or how a tractor handles on a slope, you’re getting an answer from someone who has been in the seat.
We understand the challenges of managing land in the south, and we’ve tried a variety of brands, so we’ll give you the honest take.
Broken down in the field is the worst time to load a tractor on a trailer. Thanks to KIOTI’s Connect telematics, you can anticipate and prevent maintenance issues, and notify our team of your tractor’s location. Our service team will come find you, wherever the job is, and get you running again.
KIOTI tractors come backed by a warranty that outlasts the competition, featuring a 6-year powertrain warranty with unlimited hours on select models. You’re not just buying a tractor, you’re buying peace of mind for as long as you own it.

If you’re using your KIOTI tractor for your farm, ranch, landscaping business, or other qualifying business use, you may be able to deduct the full purchase price in the year you buy it.
How it works: Under Section 179 of the IRS tax code, businesses can deduct the full cost of qualifying equipment, including tractors and attachments, in the same tax year the equipment is placed in service. For 2026, the maximum Section 179 deduction is $2,560,000, with the deduction phasing out on a dollar-for-dollar basis once total equipment purchases exceed $4,090,000. Luckily, these limits put this well within reach for most farm, ranch, and small business buyers.
Business use requirement: To qualify, the equipment must be used for business purposes more than 50% of the time. Your deduction is limited to the percentage of business use, so if your KIOTI is used 80% for business and 20% personally, you can generally deduct 80% of the eligible cost.
Works with financing too: You don’t need to pay cash upfront to take advantage of this. If you finance your KIOTI through Safford Equipment, you can still deduct the full purchase price in the year it’s placed in service. The deduction is based on the equipment’s cost, not how much you’ve paid down.
Bonus depreciation: After the Section 179 limit is applied, remaining costs may also qualify for bonus depreciation, which is currently 100% for qualifying equipment placed in service in 2026, meaning many buyers can write off their entire purchase in year one.
A few things to keep in mind:
**Section 179 rules and limits can change, and every business’s tax situation is different. This information is provided for general awareness! Please consult your tax advisor or accountant to confirm how Section 179 applies to your specific purchase.
