Compact 20” wood splitting axe is suited for basic splitting of lighter firewood. The head is designed to cut easily into wood with minimal effort, splitting wood in two parts. The small size makes it possible to use with a one-handed grip. Comes with an edge cover in leather. Made of hickory and hand-forged Swedish steel. The head is attached to the handle using both a wooden and a steel wedge to secure fastening.
